Pima County Public Library: Invasive Species in the Desert

While buffelgrass has been enemy #1 in our desert ecosystem for many years now, a new foreign invader called stinknet has been spotted more and more in greater Tucson recently.

Stinknet is a triple threat of flammable, highly allergenic, and fast spreading. It has land managers on high alert.

UofA Cooperative Extension invasive species educator Ben Tully joins us to talk about these and other invasive plant species and to share a number of ways you can help stop the spread.
