Pima County Parks and Recreation: Birding Cienega Creek (#12827)

The mix of desert and riparian habitats at Cienega Creek Preserve attracts a diversity of birds. September is a great month to be out birding as fall migration is well underway. We expect to see flycatchers, tanagers, and vireos to name a few. Sections of the trail are steep and rocky. Please carry water and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
