Phoenix Public Library: Thursday Maker Hour – 3D Printer Lab: Plants

Join us at MACH1 for Thursday Maker Hour: This month our Maker Focus is Plants

Plants grow in a dazzling array of shapes and sizes! Join us this week to explore the basics of 3D modeling while learning about connections between form and function in the plant kingdom! For this week’s class we’ll be using Tinkercad, an online 3D modeling site. Once you are done with your design, learn the ins and outs of our 3D printers and how to print your model or another model of your own design. 3D Modeling is also used for video game design, animation and more! Participants will need a free Tinkercad account.

This program is for children ages 8-17 and their families. Registration is encouraged; space is limited.

Can’t make it this month? MACH1 offers this program every third Thursday of the month for families with children ages 8 and up.
