Phoenix Public Library: MACH2 – Papel Picado de Madera para Nichos/Wooden Nicho Arch Making

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at MACH2! Design and then cut your own wooden topper in the papel picado style for a nicho using the Glowforge laser cutter! Toppers will be available beginning on October 16 during the Nichos Making program.

Then, visit Cholla Library October 15-November 2 to view a special nichos display. This tradition is a vibrant and heartfelt way to honor the lives of those who have passed.

Please note:

• Space is limited to 10 seats. Please arrive early to secure tickets from the information desk on Cholla’s second floor! Tickets are available 30 minutes before the event start.
• This program is for teens and adults.
• Computer skills, including use of a mouse/trackpad, are required. You do not need any previous laser cutting or Glowforge experience!
