Phoenix Public Library: Kids Cafe – Butterfly Hunt

Come enjoy a nutritious after school meal and stay for a fun activity. Wednesday is Midweek Recess: It’s recess indoors! Play board games, card games and more with library friends.

This week, we are celebrating Monarch Butterfly Month! Did you know that butterflies love to eat, just like us? Learn about what makes a butterfly say, “Yum!” and then stay to play a special Monarch Butterfly themed scavenger hunt. Can you find all the yummy butterfly snacks hidden in the library?

Kids Café provides free meals for youth under age 18. Meals are required to be consumed in the designated library space during scheduled meal times. Each qualifying child will receive meals while daily supplies last. Meals are provided by St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.
