Are you indoorsy (aren’t we all in the AZ summer?) but still want the thrill of a campout? This class brings the great outdoors inside with a week of camping-themed STEM challenges. Kids build full-size tent structures in the classroom for an immersive indoor camping experience, complete with low lighting, a fake campfire, and camp vibes.

Each day features hands-on STEM activities inspired by real camping scenarios: building and testing miniature shelters, going spelunking (under tables), studying rocks and geology, learning about nocturnal animals, building water filters, cooking with solar ovens, and navigating the building with hand-drawn maps.

Note: This class takes place entirely indoors despite the campout theme.
