As you visit this awe-inspiring park, you’ll discover a rich history of ancestral mountain deposits, an ancient sea, and coastal dunes, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Mogollon Rim. Over millions of years, erosion has carved away more than four miles of rock, leaving behind the iconic red rock formations that define Sedona today.
