Mesa Public Library: Young Gardeners Funfest w/ Mesa Urban Garden

Celebrate spring coming in with the Young Gardeners Funfest! We will have seed planting, flower dissection, plant pressing and pressing bookmark making with Mesa Urban Garden master gardeners. We’ll also have fresh flowers and leaves for young gardeners to press themselves and take home.

This program is co-sponsored by Mesa Public Library and Mesa Urban Garden*.

*Recently designated as a People’s Garden through a USDA grant.

This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
