Mesa Public Library: Strange Arizona – Investigating the Paranormal

Arizona is filled with stories of UFO sightings, unexplained encounters, hauntings and other strange phenomena but some cases are far more compelling than others.  Drawing on my background as a former police officer, retired military member, and private investigator, I’ll explore several Arizona paranormal incidents and legends with an emphasis on cases involving documented evidence, credible witnesses, official reports, or other details that make them difficult to simply dismiss.

Bio

Jason Cvancara is a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and a former Phoenix Police Officer. He is also the creator of The 918 Files, a fiction series rooted in Arizona and built around unresolved cases and unexplained events, grounded in investigative realism.
