Can you be a citizen scientist? YES! But how to get started? Citizen science is when everyday people work alongside scientists by collecting and sharing observations from their communities.

With just a phone, notebook, or camera, anyone can contribute valuable data that helps answer big questions about nature, health, and our changing world. This presentation will begin with an overview of citizen science, include a live demo, and highlight simple ways you can get involved from home using SciStarter, whether that’s in a yard, on a balcony, at a park, or from your sofa!
