Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Wildflower Walk

March 26 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Free with Park Fee
Spend the morning outside to learn all about plants and have the chance to see the Spring Wildflowers of the Sonoran Desert during this guided hike with Ranger Olivia.

Enjoy a guided wildflower hike along some of our trails to possibly see Spring
wildflowers. We will begin along the Palm Lake Loop trail, connect onto Lion’s trail, and then finish off on River Ramble for a total loop of about 2 miles. All trails are rated easy and are mostly flat with some uneven/sandy surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. Not all Desert Wildflowers are big and showy, so we will be sure to walk at a slow pace to see what small flowers might be hiding closer to the ground. Restrooms and water are available in the parking lot outside of the Visitor Center.
