Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Wildflower Walk

Spend the morning outside to learn all about plants and have the chance to see the Spring Wildflowers of the Sonoran Desert during this guided hike with Ranger Olivia.
Enjoy a guided wildflower hike along one of our trails to possibly see Spring
wildflowers. We will be along the Black Rock Long Loop trail which is rated moderate and is mostly flat with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. Not all Desert Wildflowers are big and showy, so we will walk at a slow pace to see what small flowers might be hiding closer to the ground for a total of 1.5 miles out and back. Restrooms and water fountains are available across the street from the trailhead.
