Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Wildflower Walk

Join Ranger Jacque on a moderate hike along scenic trails to look for early spring wildflowers and blooming desert plants.

Join Ranger Jacque for an informative walk focusing on the unique flora of the Sonoran Desert. This 1.5 mile loop will cover the Black Rock trail, rated moderate, with 72 foot elevation change. 

 

For your comfort and safety, please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, bring water, and a hat/sunglasses. Hiking poles are optional. Restrooms and water are available near the trailhead.

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 6 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 02/24/26.
