Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Weekend Warrior Fitness Hike

A 3.5-mile hike along sections of the Slate, Jasper, Quartz and Go John trails. These trails combined are rated as moderate to difficult so expect steep uphills, sandy washes, loose rock, and roots. As it is summer in the desert, you are encouraged to bring 3 liters of water on the hike but please make sure to be drinking water throughout the day before the hike. Water can be found at the Nature Center, however, it will not be open at 6 PM. Bathrooms can be found at the trailhead. It also is a good idea to leave a frozen water bottle in your car so at the end of the hike you will have cold ice water. Please no pets

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 7/24/24.
