Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Venomous Creatures Lunch and Learn

Chill out and learn to relax when you see one of these cool venomous creatures! Ranger Shaun is inviting you to bring a lunch and learn about some of the desert’s most misunderstood critters while you hang out in the cool air. Meet some of the Animal Ambassadors, bust some myths, and learn why these creatures really have wicked bites, painful stings, and gnarly pinchers. Find out where they live, what they eat, how they really act, and decide if they’re really as scary as the legends say.

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center Classroom Limit 20 participants.
