Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Sunrise Fitness Hike

You will hike 4.3 miles on sections of both the Pemberton trail and the scenic trail with a total of 400ft of elevation gain over the entire hike. This trail is on the longer side but with the small elevation gain and lack of difficult trail the rating is easy to moderate. It is encouraged that you bring between 2-3 liters of water and weather supportive close toed shoes. If you have difficulty uneven trains and uneven steps trekking poles could be helpful. There are both water fountains and bathrooms at the trailhead. The hike will begin promptly at 7:10am.
MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead staging area at the end of Shallmo Drive
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 11/17/2023.
