Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Stargazing

Join Ranger Steve for an evening of stargazing and astronomy education! We’ll be viewing a selection of objects through a small telescope. Possibilities include planets, galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters! We’ll also look at constellations with a laser pointer. Bring your questions! Family friendly program. Restrooms and water are available at the Discovery Center. Please dress appropriately for the weather (layers and a light jacket if needed).

Please note that this event may be subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather or cloud cover.
Limit 25 participants. To register, please email Ranger Steve at stephen.dacosta@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email the Ranger ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Friday, November 8th.
