Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Saguaro Hike

January 23 @ 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Free with Park Fee
Join Ranger Jacque for a 5 mile trek featuring a rare crested saguaro!

Join a ranger for around 5 miles on the San Tan trail to the site of a rare and beautiful crested saguaro. On the way there, we’ll learn about these desert giants, and on the way back, enjoy the views as the sun sets over the mountains! If you’re participating in the 100 miles challenge running through Feb. 8, this is a great way to help reach your goal! Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and sun protection. Snacks and trekking pols are optional and not a bad idea. No pets please. This program is weather-dependent; please check our website for cancellations before attending.
