Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Join Ranger Nikki on an easy to moderate terrain hike to learn about desert plants, shrubs and legume trees including bursage, palo verde and creosote. The route is 3.5 miles and uses Butterfield, Dysart and Coldwater Trails. Bring plenty of water and wear closed toe shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available the Rainbow Valley Trailhead / Arena parking lot.
