Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Enjoy a guided nature hike along some of our trails to see all the beauty the desert plants have to offer. We will begin along the Spur Cross trail and then switch onto Metate trail, both are rated easy-moderate with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. Bring any questions you have about the plants that reside in the desert. Restrooms are available at the Spur Cross main trailhead, but there is no potable water available.

Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 04/02/2025.
