Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Enjoy a guided nature hike along some of our trails to see all the beauty the desert plants have to offer. We will be along the Vista and Merkle trails which are rated moderate-easy with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. The vista trail will be mostly uphill with a beautiful view of the park at the end. Bring any questions you have about the plants that reside in the desert. Restrooms are available at the Trailhead, please be sure to bring plenty of water.

Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 05/26/25.
