Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Metate Trail Full Moon Hike

The full moon’s tomorrow, but who’s counting? Join Ranger Shaun for a peaceful walk down Metate Trail under the moon. Depending on recent weather, we may be able to see wildlife if we’re lucky. Flashlights and blacklights encouraged. Please bring plenty of water. Metate is an easy rated trail though the difficulty may be slightly higher in the dark. Total distance approximately 2.1 miles.
MEETING LOCATION: Shaded picnic area near port-a-johns.
Limit 10 participants. To register, please call Cave Creek Regional Park at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 05/20/24.
