Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Meet the Critters

Join us for an opportunity to meet our resident animal ambassadors at this casual drop-in program! You will get the chance to meet our resident snakes, Gila monster, scorpions, tarantula, and tortoise while learning their unique stories. This experience gives visitors of all ages the opportunity to get to know our animal rescues, ask questions, and even take photos with them. Ranger Jacque will be available to discuss the fascinating adaptations of these desert dwellers and the important roles they play in our ecosystem. Please wash and dry your hands with soap and water before and after the program if you handle critters. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
