Look for and learn about reptiles of Sonoran Desert riparian areas during this guided hike with Ranger Derik.
Join Ranger Derik for a guided, hike along the Black Rock and Waterfall Trails to look for reptiles of the Sonoran Desert. Along the way, we will discuss identification tips, their ecological roles, and safety around venomous animals. We will hike 2 miles roundtrip on easy to moderate terrain, meaning occasionally rocky or uneven surfaces. Restrooms are
available at Black Rock Trailhead and Area 4. Please wear sun protection and sturdy footwear, carry your own ample water and snacks, and bring binoculars or camera if you have them.
