Learn about the birds of the Sonoran Desert on this easy, short bird walk with Ranger Eric.
Join Ranger Eric on this easy guided walk to learn about the resident and migratory birds of the Sonoran Desert. Along the way we will discuss ways to identify birds by sight and sound, and about the ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We will hike 0.2-mile on the easy grade trail to the Wildlife Pond, an artificial water feature surrounded by native vegetation that attracts birds and other wildlife. Please bring your own water and sun protection. Portapotties are available at the other end of the Staging Area parking lot not far from the Wildlife Trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Wildlife Trailhead at the east side of the Trailhead Staging Area.
