Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike

Discover the magic and majesty of the full moon rising over the desert landscape, following the famous Arizona sunset draping over the mountains. This 2-mile out-and-back hike will follow the NoSo trail, with gravelly, sometimes sandy or rocky terrain, and a slight 119-foot elevation change. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather. Small hand-held flashlights are OK; please refrain from using headlamps. This program is weather-dependent; please check our website for cancellations before attending. Restrooms are available near the meeting location.
