August 18, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free with Park Fee
Ranger Jacque leads the way on this night hike, sure to please the senses as you take in the majestic moon, mysterious sounds, and creatures of the night.
Discover the magic and majesty of the full moon rising over the desert landscape, following the famous Arizona sunset draping over the mountains. This two-mile hike starts on the Noso trail, through Blevins and Crismon Wash trails, looping back to the start location. Terrain features include firm gravel sections of trail, sandy wash sections, and an elevation difference of just over 100 feet. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and $7 cash per vehicle for the self-pay station. Small hand-held flashlights are OK; please refrain from using headlamps.

Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The MC Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program.
