Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Discovery Hike

Hike 3 miles through pristine Sonoran Desert past native American rock art and through riparian habitat.
As the group moves through the park there will be frequent stops to talk about history, plants, and animals. Hikers should bring water, protective clothing, supportive shoes, flashlights and if you have them a blacklight. There are portable bathrooms at the park but no water so please come prepared. Also bring exact cash or your current Maricopa County Park pass with you

Limit 25 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 11/27/26.
