Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Fitness Hike

Start your day with a cardio kick and learn about our Sonoran Desert with Ranger Nikki. The focus is on exercise but there will be time to stop and observe plants, birds and a lizard or two that may cross our path. The route follows Toothaker, Dysart and Coldwater Trails to make a 3.5-mile loop. The terrain is mainly uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot but there are some level sections on Coldwater Trail. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and fountain water are available at the trailhead.
