Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Family Holiday Hike

Maybe you don’t celebrate. Maybe you just wanted to do something new. Maybe your out-of-town family wants to see the desert. Maybe you just want to get everyone out-of-your-house!
Either way, Ranger Shaun’s got you. Come on out and take a stroll for the holidays. Learn a little about the desert and the history of Spur Cross Ranch while you take in a little nature with your eggnog.
This is a roughly 2-mile hike along easy rated trails. Water bottles and closed toe shoes required. No pets please.

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 12/23/25.
