Earth Day – Desert Defenders Event at Estrella Mountain Regional Park
Join us on this Earth Day at Estrella Mountain Regional Park on April 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. We’ll meet at the Nature Center parking lot.
This hands-on event features a variety of fun and meaningful projects—perfect for anyone who enjoys getting their hands dirty (or wearing gloves!). Activities will include planting native species in the pollinator garden, removing invasive weeds, collecting native seeds, and enhancing the garden with plants grown in the park’s new greenhouse.
Please wear field clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and bring gloves, your favorite trowel, water, and snacks.
This is a kid-friendly event. 😊 Children must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed waiver.
