Join Ranger Kevin as we celebrate everything saguaro!
Drop on in from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and learn why these iconic cacti deserve our utmost respect and admiration. Late spring is the season when the saguaro starts to blossom. Find out why that is, how saguaros help boost the biodiversity of desert animal species, how they have mastered our harsh desert environment, and the dangers they must endure in the face of climate change. Also learn about the Saguaro Census project happening in the month of May, and how you can get involved! Plus, we’ll have a whole bunch of saguaro-related artifacts available for you to explore and examine!
