Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Planting Native
October 1 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free with Park Fee
Want to save money, improve your property, and help nature at the same time? Ask Ranger Kevin how!
Come meet Ranger Kevin from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and learn how to turn your yard (or just a bit of it) into a miniature version of your favorite county park! hassNative plants are adapted to our soil (no additives needed), are drought tolerant (duh), and can be just as appealing to the eye as any non-native plants. Fall is your peak time to add plants to the home landscape, and switching to native plants might just be the single best thing you can do to your property. Find out why!
No registration required, just drop on in!
