Meet Ranger Derik at the nature center after your morning hike and learn about Leave No Trace and how you can protect the parks and the Sonoran Desert.
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation is a proud partner of Leave No Trace, an organization that promotes the care of and protection for wild spaces across the country and the world. A table will be set up to educate the public about the Leave No Trace 7 Principles and share ways that you can help protect the 120,000 acres of Sonoran Desert managed by the Parks Department.
MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center No registration required. Just stop by any time between 11am and 1pm!
