Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Desert Cacti
Stop by the nature center and learn about the many cacti species found in the Sonoran Desert.
Ranger Derik will have a table set up in the nature center featuring photos and natural artifacts found throughout the county park system. Topics discussed at this table will be the parts of cacti, the keystone species Saguaro, crested cacti, and edible cacti.
