Stop by the nature center after your morning hikes and learn about the animals big and small that call the Sonoran Desert home! Click on program title for more details. Website program details: Ranger Derik will have a table set up in the Nature Center classroom with a variety of insects, arachnids, reptiles, animal pelts and skulls from animals found throughout the Maricopa Park System. You will be able to hold the pellets and skull and if you are brave enough you can even have the opportunity to pet a snake.
