Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Butterflies and Allies

Join us in the fight to protect our precious desert pollinators and learn what you can do to be a better friend to butterflies and their allies!

Come meet Ranger Kevin between 2pm and 3:30pm. Pick up your free butterfly ID guides and then gain the knowledge you need to start helping out our native populations of pollinating powerhouses: butterflies, moths, bats, birds, bees, beetles and more! Find out some things you can do to metamorphosize your green spaces into welcoming places for these crucial critters. Whether you’ve got a big yard, a patio, balcony or no yard at all, there are still things you can do to lend them all a helping hand! No registration required, just drop on in!
