Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert Ecosystems Hike Winter Edition

Come along for a walk in the lovely Arizona weather. We’ll be on the lookout for critters, as always, and discuss our unique ecosystem as we walk the approximately 1 mile, barrier free Merkle trail. Please bring plenty of water, wear a hat, sunscreen, and closed toe shoes. Feel free to also bring friends, family, and any hiking equipment you need to feel comfortable.
MEETING LOCATION: Parking lot off Blevins Drive near Wind Cave Rd. On North side of the trail loop.
Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 12/2/2024.
