Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Walk

oin Ranger Steve for an evening walk to enjoy the sunset and watch nocturnal animals become active along Waterfall Trail. We may see coyotes, owls, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and more! The route uses Waterfall Trail, the first half of which is rated as barrier-free and is a wide, mostly level pathway. The second half of the trail is slightly inclined and has some rocky/uneven spots. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a flashlight, and a UV blacklight if you have one. Restrooms and water are available at the trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Waterfall Trailhead
Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the White Tank Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Thursday, September 7.
