Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Hike

Explore the interesting Metate, Towhee, and parts of the Spur Cross trails in the dark with UV lights and flashlights while looking nocturnal critters. We’ll listen for and attempt to identify night sounds, insects,plants, birds, and lizards. If we’re lucky enough to encounter them, we’ll add snakes, mammals, or whateverelse volunteers!

Please note: Entry to Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area is $3 per person. Annual Pass or CASH areaccepted, and exact change is much appreciated.

Limit 10 participants. To register, please call the Cave Creek Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number, and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after youhave registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for thisprogram will close on Tuesday, 9/25.
