Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Morning Hike

June 23, 2024 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Free with Park Fee
Join Ranger Kevin for an early morning walk in search of wildlife.

Enjoy a roughly 1.5-mile hike on the Wildlife Pond and Mule Deer trails with Ranger Kevin as we look for all kinds of wildlife along the way. Some animals we may see include mule deer, javelina, squirrels, rabbits, various species of birds and perhaps a reptile or two. Trail is rated easy, with very little loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended. Restrooms are available near Area 4 and Area 7, or at the Nature Center. NO pets, please.

MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging Area Limit 20 participants.

To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 6/21.
