Join Ranger Kevin for a hike and mine tour which features a fascinating glimpse into Arizona’s past.

This is a great program for residents and visitors alike! Join Ranger Kevin for a roughly 1.8-mile round-trip hike to the Clay Mine, site of a fortune made not of gold, but of snake oil. Program features a tour of the mine itself. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring water. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. Restrooms are available at the Nature Center. NO pets, please.

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
