Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Cave Creek – Native Seed Garden

June 18 @ 7:30 am - 10:30 am

It is time to harvest seeds! Join us for a celebration of native seeds!! As we strive to improve native biodiversity within the parks.

Participants will learn to identify native plants in their seed stage and how to harvest and clean native seeds in a sustainable way within the desert ecosystems of Maricopa County’s regional parks.

The initiative to harvest native seeds is a proactive step towards ecological restoration. These native seeds are selected for their resilience and ability to thrive in the local environment.
