Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Butterflies and Blooms Hike

Join Ranger Nikki on a 4-mile moderate hike to look for and identify butterflies among seasonal blooms along the trail. Learn about the Parks Department butterfly monitoring initiative and apps to help you identify butterflies and record your observations. The route follows Shallmo Wash, Scenic and Cinch Trails. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. Restrooms are available at Four Peaks Staging area.
MEETING LOCATION: Four Peaks Staging Area near the park entry.
