Celebrate America 250 by meeting the resilient reptiles that are true icons of the Southwest.

In this live indoor demonstration, Ranger Jacque will introduce you to our animal ambassadors—including snakes and gila monsters—sharing their remarkable stories and survival strategies that have allowed them to thrive in the Sonoran Desert for centuries. You’ll learn about their vital roles in the ecosystem and discover the unique characteristics that make them such a fascinating part of our natural heritage. This program is perfect for families and curious minds of all ages; you’ll even get a chance to pet a friendly snake!
