Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: All Abilities Sunset Stroll

This approachable walk is on a 0.8-mile loop on barrier-free gravel terrain with little elevation gain. We go at a comfortable, strolling pace, pausing at a few stops along the way to discover what makes the Sonoran Desert so unique, making this perfect for beginners, photographers, families, and nature-lovers of all abilities. Absorb the beauty of the desert during this short outdoor program. Make sure you bring water and closed-toe shoes. We will meet at the Merkle trailhead where a picnic area and restrooms are available.
