Do you love photographing hummingbirds in natural light and want to take it a step further? Join Lisa Langell as she provides helpful tips for expanding how you photograph hummingbirds.

You will learn:

  • How shutter speed will affect wing blur / sharpness and how you can experiment with speeds to get varying looks
  • What focus settings work best to get the most out of your camera’s eye-tracking and continuous focus features
  • Expanding on composition and aperture to give more subject-background separation

On Thursday, this class will be held in the Village of Oak Creek in a private garden filled with hummingbirds, with red rocks in the background. It is 15 miles (30 minutes) from Hummingbird Central. On Monday, this class will be held in Cornville at “Tiny Waters,” a lush garden filled with interesting plants, ornaments, and of course many hummingbirds. It is 12.5 miles (15 minutes) from Hummingbird Central.
