You will learn how to use sketches, clip-art, photos, and shapes to combine and create your own unique designs for laser cut projects. While covering the basics of the Inkscape design software.

Inkscape is a free and open source vector editor. Vector graphics are based on points lines and curves which can then be used as the paths to cut with a laser cutter. Many of the methods and techniques we will discuss will work regardless of the specific software you use but we will cover it Inkscape.

This class works as a solo class or as part of the Build-A-Bot series. See this link for more details. It is also best for adults and kids age 10 and up, but parents can work with their younger kids if they want.
