Glendale Public Library: Wild Wednesday! Garden Hotel for Bugs

In anticipation of an all-ages, local beekeeper program on November 20th, we’re making a garden hotel for helpful garden bugs! Kids between 5-12 are invited to create an inviting haven of organic materials for the little critters that help our gardens thrive. An expert from the Water Conservation department will also be on hand to talk about the library xeriscape garden and all of the beneficial organisms that call it home!

This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
