Glendale Public Library: Kids STEAM Lab @ FBL – Invent a Windchime

Join us once a month for a STEAM themed activity! We will explore tech gadgets like cubelets and 3-D pens, compete in daring feats of engineering, and learn how to solve real-world problems through invention, creativity, and experimentation. Geared at ages 9-12.
How do you create a windchime that sounds like gentle rain? How do you create a windchime that sounds like an alarm? What about a windchime that reminds you of your favorite person? You get to decide! Use one of our invention challenges as inspiration or create your own! We will transform a random assortment of supplies into windchimes using a creative engineering mindset.
All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
